After-School Activities

Activities meet once or twice a week from October through May. Activities begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m., although a few activities for older students start and end later in the afternoon.

Many after-school activities are paid for by the School, although there may be an additional fee depending upon the activity and/or number of students enrolled. Included in this group are Art Club, Arts and Crafts, Ceramics, Computer Art and Graphics, Drama for Middle School and for Upper School, Gymnastics, Photography, and Tennis.

Frees for some activities are paid by the parents. Activities in this category include group lessons in Gold, Ballet, Tap, Toe, Modern Jazz, and Spanish Dance, and private lessons in Classical Guitar, Piano, Tennis, and Voice.

Activities not organized by ASM but supported by the school and held on campus include Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, as well as sports such as baseball. Many of these activities are held on Saturdays or after school, sometimes at later hours than normal activities and are organized and supervised by parents.
