http://desnivel.com Ediciones Desnivel have given us permission to use their maps on our website. They also operate a bookstore in the Plaza Matute, (Metro Antón Martin) in Madrid. Many famous mountaineers come to sign their books and give presentations. Reinhold Messner, Kurt Diemberger, Lynn Hill, Tomas Humar are a few of the mountaineers who have appeared there.
http://www.edicioneselsenderista.com The Librería El Senderista on Calle Mayor 80, has a very complete collection of hiking guides for the Comunidad de Madrid and other parts of Spain. They also sell didactic guides and guides for taking hikes in and around Madrid with children.
http://www.aventura-amazonia.com Located in Cercedilla, Ecoparque Aventura-Amazonia is the elevated rope course that we visit. There are routes for the whole family. This makes a very special family outing or a great place to celebrate a birthday party in the great outdoors.

Equipaciones de Montaña CANI, Calle Duque de Rivas 8, Madrid (near the Plaza Mayor) If you need any gear for hiking from boots to backpacks, you can count on Luis Miguel and Alfonso to give you good advice and good service. Their website is under construction and will be available here soon.
http://www.peñalara.org/ The Real Sociedad Española de Alpinismo Peñalara is one of the largest alpine clubs in Spain. As a member, you can rent equipment, participate in their club activities, and even take courses in mountaineering.
