Community resources provide numerous opportunities for enrichment activities through field trips that take students to points of interest in Madrid and outlying areas.

There are also numerous after-school activities in which students can participate, including Middle School drama, sports teams such as boys’ soccer or basketball, and girls’ volleyball and basketball. The School offers other activities such as photography, information technology, ceramics, gymnastics, ballet, and drama.

Middle School House Council is composed of representatives and officers. Leadership training and experience is a key component of the house council, along with planning activity nights and community service projects for the Middle School.

Close co-ordination among the core teachers of the Middle School allows for scheduling of integrated projects and ensures awareness of and special attention to the needs of their students.

This program is a service organization, for students in grades 6-12, that strives to develop mature, service-minded young students who are positive school representatives and volunteer their free time to community service.
