When did you know you wanted to be a teacher?

I discovered my passion for teaching in high school when I was in a class called environmental education. As students, we learned about the environment and then taught elementary students about it too. I learned to love working with kids and wanted to become a teacher.

What do you want students to take away from your class more than anything else?

How to be creative problem solvers.

What do you love about working at ASM?

I love that I have the opportunity to grow through professional development and working with the coaches here on our staff.
