Meredith Bosco
Lower School Learner Support Teacher
Meredith is passionate about yoga, meditation, and eating healthy. While working in China, she built a nutrition and food education program for children which led to holding a seat on the UN’s Committee for Sustainable Lifestyles and Education.
Meredith once sailed for two months from Tahiti to Hawaii while studying the sustainability of indigenous cultures and vulnerable ecosystems in the Pacific. At ASM, Meredith sponsors the Garden Club and offers yoga classes to staff.
What are you proudest of in your life?
My ability to move to China, alone, without a job, and create a life for myself. Building a nutrition and food education program for kids and leading me to hold a seat on the UN's Committee for Sustainable Lifestyles and Education.
When did you know you wanted to be a teacher?
I realized I wanted to become a teacher when I decided the best way to create positive global change was in the classroom.
What do you want students to take away from your class?
Passion for learning and curiosity about the world.
What do you love about teaching at ASM?
The students.
